I’m writing you to specifically compliment Angela W., and to compliment all Park West representatives in general that I’ve been fortunate enough to encounter in one way or another.

In early April, while on a short Carnival Elation cruise from San Diego I had the opportunity to purchase a few items of artwork at a couple of your cruise auctions. My interactions with your shipboard representatives were delightful; they were each very friendly, helpful and professional. Although my purchases hadn’t amounted to much of an expenditure in the grand scheme of things, they made it easy for me to feel I had cultivated “friends’ rather than sales consultants.

Since that experience I and my wife have needed the services of Angela to help us with a few concerns and changes. I’ve needed to return a slightly damaged print, and I asked that a replacement be framed (contrary to my original desires). Upon receipt of another framed print, my wife was unhappy with the size of the frame and the shade of gold color on the frame. She asked for help from Angela. Throughout these interactions, whether through email or telephone communication, Angela has been the finest example of customer service. Her responses are quick, immediately helpful, and always friendly, yet professional. If only other businesses we encounter each day could learn from you folks at Park West, the world would be full of a lot more happy customers.

There are times in one’s life that if you are lucky you may come by something or someone who is truly extraordinary. My wife and I have had that opportunity to meet someone who is just that. At a recent Park West Art show earlier in the year, Park West had two live artists at the show. That is when we met Marco Mavrovich and Dominic Pangborn.

Dominic Pangborn is the type of person who comes along once in a lifetime if you are lucky. The type of person who you can warm up to and truly appreciate his works of art which are endless in beauty and innovation along with his personality. You would not know by talking with him that he is a world famous artist unless of course you were specifically talking about ‘art’. In a very short time, my wife and I became friends with Dominic and saw him as a fine “human being” who is very powerful in his works of art and is sensitive to the communities around him and always finds ways to give back as the humanitarian he is. This is evident by viewing and taking a minute to hear him speak about his art the idea, his passion, his vision behind the art and why he chose or represented the piece the way he did.

Art lovers, art collectors, neck tie aficionados – Dominic Pangborn is an artist in our lifetime to be reckoned with! I just wanted to thank everyone involved with the V.I.P. event that I just attended featuring Peter Max, then local artists Jason Ruff, Tim Yanke, and Kelly Ramsey.
