I wanted to provide feedback on the wonderful experience my wife and I had during recent at sea auctions with a particular auctioneer. We cruised the week of February 14 onboard the Liberty of the Seas. I have attended a few auctions over the years but have not been particularly interested in art.

Our first day at sea, my wife and I attended the onboard art auction hosted by Jacqueline. That is where my art adventure began. We attended all the auctions during our cruise and I have Jacqueline to thank for that. She kept her auction moving and yet involved the audience with interaction and providing an education on the artists and their art that she was selling. She made the auctions one of the highlights of our cruise.

When boarding the ship, my wife and I had no intention of purchasing any art. By the time the cruise was over we had purchased 5 pieces! I feel you are very fortunate to have someone of the caliber of Jacqueline representing your organization, the feedback can only be positive.

I look forward to expanding our new art interest and continuing my relationship with Park West. Should we be fortunate to run into Jacqueline again on our next cruise that would be something that would make our cruise even more rewarding.

Danielle and I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the weekend down at Reynolds Plantation. The event and the facility were great, but the addition of Noah and Dominic made it truly exceptional! Both artists were just so down-to-earth and so easy to talk with, especially given their “rock star” status in the art world. We had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Dominic and he is really a remarkable guy – please feel free to pass along our sentiments as appropriate.

We look forward to the next event, and hope that we can be a part of future auctions in the Southeast. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.

We were so fortunate to have been invited to Houston back in September, which was our anniversary weekend. We started to turn down the gracious VIP invitation because it was a special time for me and Valerie. Wow we were blown away at the reception and personal attention shown to us by EJ and Rob the auctioneer.

They made us feel like VIP's and made our trip the anniversary of a lifetime. Both EJ and Rob demonstrated an incredible knowledge and passion for the artwork and various artists displayed. They were gracious hosts and ambassadors for Park West Galleries as this reflected greatly upon themselves as well as an asset to the galleria.

I still can't get over the experience of meeting Artists such as Simon Bull and Tim Yanke during our visit. How great is it to meet Muhammad Ali's personal artist, even that still amazes me today!!! Tim Yanke was mind blowing. Here you have someone who could pass for an average Joe such as myself, but in no way could be considered as such. He is one of the most gifted and complex artist that I have ever met. His ability to take an idea and attack it like a mad man on canvas with each stroke as random as it may appear to create such deliberate and awesome art work. I hope to have the privilege of meeting him again. I am merely an amateur collector with a passion to learn and collect new and exciting masterpieces, so for someone to extend such courtesy's to myself and Valerie is truly humbling and so appreciated.

Even if we are never invited to another auction, I can say that it was my pleasure and honor to be surrounded by such an awesome staff from Park West and great art enthusiasts such as myself. In closing I would also like to acknowledge the two assistants that helped with the Houston event as they were gracious and eager to assist us with information at the auction as we had lots of questions. I look forward to attending another auction as some point in time.

Susan and I would like to thank Park West for the weekend at the Hyatt in Richardson, Texas. Starting with the invitation we received from EJ, the customer service we received from your staff was above reproach. Rob the auctioneer was not only informative but was very successful in making everyone feel at ease. The schedule was just right as far as the splits between preview, auction, and fun! The questions from all were answered professionally and with expertise. I would also take this opportunity to compliment the rest of the staff! They were wonderful and check-out was very smooth!


The artists that you brought were absolutely wonderful!!! Hua Chen and his wife Maggie were wonderful and we enjoyed being able to meet with them and hear the inspiration for his work! Dominic Pangborn is we believe, a genius. His new art....AIM we immediately bought! Having the artists there and able to speak with us made buying decisions easier!

Thanks again for a wonderful and we look forward to another invitation!

A Fantastic Park West Art Collectors Event

Hello from Dottie and John M!

We were guests at your VIP event in Palm Springs and I am so happy that I found your website and can write to all of you with "one fell swoop" to thank you for such a wonderful experience. The Resort was lovely and a perfect environment to be with other art lovers. Our accommodations were wonderful, the food fantastic, AND PLENTIFUL.

I especially liked the "Auction and Strolling Lunch" so we could have so much personal time with the artists that you brought to us. And, wonderful artists they were; Tim Yanke, whom I had met before, is such a talented person and so warm and friendly. It was great to see him again. Csaba Markus, a real personality, and that is putting it mildly! What a treat that he stayed with us the entire time. And, last but not least, Anatole Krasnyansky. His life story is so interesting and I loved meeting both he and Csaba since we have some of their pieces.

Now the fun is beginning again as the art we purchased has started to arrive and we can have the fun of looking at it closely and taking our time. Just to believe that it belongs to us and we were with the artists who created these wonderful works of art.

Jason is a wonderful auctioneer and so knowledgeable and fun to be with. His lovely wife, Laura, is certainly an asset to him and they make a darling couple. Morris Shapiro, you are just amazing. You just blew us away with your intellect about each subject you spoke on. And, Elvis at a Cowboy Show, who would ever believe it???? Sebelle and Jennifer could not do enough for us. I don't know where they get their stamina. Everyone worked so hard, day and night, but never lost their smile and great personalities.

Now a word about Simon - From his first telephone invitation until we said good bye in Palm Springs, he was there for us. Simon and I had met before at events, but this one was the topper. A special Thank You to you, Simon. I really appreciate all that you did to make our trip a success. I know I drive you crazy sometimes, but you hang in there with me!! You are the best.

We really had fun with the entire staff. I think back and just remember laughing and having such a great time! Also, we met so many lovely people that we have already corresponded with. We hope to see them at future events, assuming that we are invited back.

I am so happy with what has arrived so far. "Violin" by Maya Green, "Destiny" and "Avonia" by Csaba. And, I finally received my second Marcus Glenn since November! It is lovely.

Again, thank you all for a terrific event. I feel like we all are friends and I hope to get to be together again some time.

My wife and I just return home from our long weekend at the VIP Collectors show here in Georgia at the Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro. It was without a doubt the best time we have ever had at one of these events. Meeting Noah and Dominic Pangborn was so awesome!!! They are both very talented and we purchased art from both artist.

Rob also made it a point to entertain us while educating us about the various art on display at the event. As for the Park West Gallery staff, well they were by far the best crew I have seen at one of these events. Rob and his British humor kept us laughing and bidding. Samantha, Lindsay, Oscar and Jason (Fester) were top notch and addressed every question and need without failure.

Bottom line is that when I come to another event, I want this crew to be running the show. GREAT JOB to Rob and Team!!!

Julia and I have just returned from our first land auction in Dallas, Texas. We appreciate the opportunity to participate in moving our collecting to the next level. I wish to express our sincere thanks for the amenities provided but in particular the assistance that was provided by Abigail in answering all our inquiries, helping us with our selections and the efficiency in handling our departure. Robert's explanations were not only informative but very educational all of which added to our experience.


The most important aspect of our first auction was the artists themselves. Both Mr. Chen and Mr. Pangborn not only added to the prestige of the event but to the pieces we purchased. Their personal interaction was so sincere and genuine that words could not express our pleasure in their willingness to associate with every patron at the auction. Having attended events with other prestigious individuals I found their warmth and interest in us not only genuine but equal to our interest in their backgrounds, both personally as well as their artistic pursuits. It made the auction for us.

We hope you will share our thanks to Hua, his lovely wife Maggie and Dominic for making our first event so memorable and to those Park West auction personnel for having provided this opportunity.
