Park West Gallery CEO Inspires Art Collectors

"Couture" by Itzchak Tarkay
Park West Gallery Collection
DEAR MR. ALBERT SCAGLIONE,

"They say that 'for every action there is a reaction' and so on down the line. Meeting you for the first time at the Michigan VIP Event was truly inspirational. Your energy, your faith, your passion for everything you do is obviously why Park West Gallery is so successful and also why you have so many dedicated and talented employees who share your passion and vision.

It is a pleasure for us to be invited to, and participate in, the Park West Gallery VIP Events. Your hosts/associates/auctioneers always go the extra mile to make the event even better than the last. The auctions, the artwork, and the planned social events this week were awesome!

The VIP Event that we attended at The Henry in Dearborn (what a beautiful hotel), presented us with unexpected and welcome surprises. Meeting the artists (David Najar, Itzchak Tarkay, Tim Yanke and Peter Max) was exciting. Sharing meals with them, purchasing their artwork and meeting other people/couples who also share the passion of art collecting made for some wonderful and fun memories. We thank you for this opportunity.

We loved browsing Park West Gallery and wished we had more time to spend there. Thank you for opening your doors to us. The music and the meal were lovely. We, again, enjoyed meeting you and Mitsie, and look forward to attending other VIP Events in the future."

Thrilled to Meet the Artists at Park West Gallery Events

"She Speaks Softly" by Itzchak Tarkay
Park West Gallery Collection
Dear Park West Gallery,

Just a belated note to thank you and all of your associates at Park West Gallery for making the weekend in Dearborn, Michigan enjoyable and exciting. What a thrill to meet Peter Max and Itzchak Tarkay, as well as David Najar and Tim Yanke! We just received the photos which were taken of us with the artists and our art work, and have already gotten a couple of the pieces which we purchased that weekend.

All the details of the various events were carefully planned and executed, and it was obvious that much effort and expense went into the lavish entertaining. The instruction from the artists was enlightening, the entertainment was lively, and the food was fabulous.

Thanks once again for giving us the opportunity and the honor to spend time with you and Albert Scaglione and the many art collectors we met in Dearborn.

Dear Park West Gallery,

"I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Park West Gallery Auctions on the Carnival Cruise I just completed.

I do not remember their names but the couple from South Africa and the Scottish Auctioneer were just plain terrific. They were interesting, informative and a pleasure to talk to. My highest compliments to them and your organization. Because of them, you have a new customer."

"I would appreciate your fowarding this message to Albert and Mitsie Scaglione.

My wife Bonnie and I were on the NCL Sun. I want to bring to your attention one special employee-[the art associate]. [He] was very courteous, kind and helpful to me. He is very knowledgeable about art, answered all my questions and also suggested an artist similar to Metlan whose works I purchased.

I also want to compliment [the art director] for a number of outstanding art lectures. I attended each of his talks. He rekindled an interest in art."

Cruisers Enjoy the Park West Gallery Experience

Park West Gallery Fine Art Collection, Dominic Pangborn
"Potpourri of Colors" by Dominic Pangborn
Park West Gallery Collection
Dear Mr. Scaglione,

"I wanted you to know about the great time my family and I had recently on the NCL Jewel. [The art auctioneer] did an excellent job as host of the VIP experience. From the moment of our invitation, the visit to Peter Max's studio, meeting Dominic Pangborn to the last meal with the other attendees, his thoughtfulness and attention to detail were appreciated.

We've been customers of Park West Gallery for many years and have always enjoyed our artwork as well as the Park West experience. The art around our home brightens and inspires us all. We are all now looking forward to hanging our 3 new Pangborns.

I believe that one of the things that sets your company apart is the apparent family atmosphere we feel. Not only amongst your employees on board (which was top notch), but the fact that my children were welcomed so warmly by [the art auctioneer] and his team. We had several special moments throughout the event. Of particular note was meeting Dominic and seeing him take the time to sit with our daughter and discuss art - that meant a lot to us.

I thought you should hear directly from one of your happy customers about the wonderful experience my family had with [the art auctioneer], his team and the other folks who attended the event. It was something that [we] will be talking about for many years. I look forward to the day where I can meet you and share other great experiences we've had with Park West Gallery."

"Venice Canal" by Thomas Kinkade

Dear Park West Gallery,

"Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. This [Kinkade work of art] will be a wonderful surprise Valentine's gift for my wife.

We cruised the Mediterranean a few years ago (and bought some Park West Gallery art onboard at that time, I might add). We disembarked at Venice, where we spent a few extra days...it was an incredible experience, and this artwork will bring back memories of that wonderful trip.

Thank you again and please convey my appreciation along to Mr. Scaglione for sponsoring this contest.

Take care and Happy New Year!"

Art Collectors Say Park West Gallery Is #1

"PARK WEST GALLERY... NOT JUST #1 IN MICHIGAN, BUT #1 IN INDIANA ALSO!!!!!!!

Carol and I were thoroughly impressed by the first-class act and opportunity with regards to accommodations, itinerary, and art presentation provided to us by PARK WEST GALLERY at the VIP event on the NORWEGIAN PEARL cruise to ALASKA the first week in August of this year.

Having been collectors since 1999, we are very grateful for the opportunity to collect such great works of art from such a fine family at outrageously reasonable and budgetary prices. If the SCAGLIONE FAMILY, complemented by the fine staff of auctioneers and auctioneer assistants, including the great art historian MORRIS SHAPIRO, had not had the intuitiveness, the guts, and the warm heart/concern for other people's art appreciation to venture forward and start this art gallery business, we all would not have ever been exposed to this great, uplifting emotional experience we enjoy everyday of our lives, in the midst of all the negativism that exists in the world.

The inspiration, joy, and satisfaction we derive every day from gazing on our pieces is priceless. We can never thank you enough and words just become idle chatter after a while, so we will show our appreciation going forward with collecting more fine artworks exclusively from this fine family.

Voted #1 art gallery in INDIANA, also.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to say what I believe."

"Studio Over Downtown" by Fanch Ledan
Park West Gallery Collection
Dear Mr. Scaglione,

I am writing to you as one of your VIP clients to let you know that Paula in your Customer Service Department deserves credit for doing a great job and representing Park West Gallery in the best light.

After a recent VIP cruise I had some issues and Paula helped clear them up and assisted me in a very professional and timely manner. She is a very good asset and in this world of poor service as a standard she has helped Park West increase its image and service quality.

I will definitely be a loyal customer and look forward to future VIP Park West events to further our collection.

Best Regards,

Long Time Friend and Customer Writes In about Park West Gallery

I have known Albert and Mitsie Scaglione for over 40 years. They are the most honorable, caring, trustworthy, benevolent and hardest working couple I have ever known. Park West Gallery was built from the ground up with hard work, dedication and love of art. Park West Gallery has been an exemplary foundation in the community. Many churches, charities, individuals and communities have benefitted from Park West Gallery thru the Scagliones' philanthropy.

I have purchased numerous artworks from Park West Gallery over the years. My family has also purchased several paintings and we are all very satisfied with what we have.

Sincerely,
Tino B.

Exceptional Customer Service Delivered by Park West

Park West Gallery prides itself on providing clients with excellent customer service. No matter what you’re looking for, give us a call, and we’ll try our best to accommodate your needs. Please enjoy the letter from a happy client below.

CEO Albert and President Marc Scaglione

Gentleman,

Tabatha is one of the most outstanding customer support persons we have dealt with in any business and walk of life. Since others at Park West Gallery confirmed my impressions of Tabatha, I assume you are already quite aware of her and her professionalism. Don’t ever let her get away!

When our friend Tom, who went on the cruise with us, had problems with one of his paintings, he called Park West Gallery and received good service. I told him that if wanted everything taken care of efficiently and quickly, call Tabatha. But as luck would have it, Mac had already talked with Tabatha; she “wowed” him too.  Few impress me the way she has and I felt it important to convey this to you gentleman at the top. She cements loyalty in your customers.

We appreciate the caliber and quality of Park West Gallery and look forward to continued business with your gallery. I’ll recommend Park West Gallery to friends looking for art and then give them Tabatha’s contact info telling them, “If you have ANY trouble in ANY area, call Tabatha. You can then rest assured that a solution to your problem is underway.”

Kudos to Tabatha. Please convey to her our deepest appreciation and admiration.

Gratefully,
Steve and Roseanne E.

I want to tell you how much I appreciate all of the great work Jessie C. has done for me over the past few months. I have personally spoken with her on the phone and we have exchanged a host of emails. She is always very timely to respond to any request I may have whether an inquiry about shipping items back to the gallery, appraisals/certificates of authenticity and/or art which I may have purchased but not yet received. Additionally, I have met a number of folks that work the land events and they truly are a pleasure to know. It is my hope that all of your employees have just half as much enthusiasm and interest in the clients as these few people do, as well as the dedication to their profession and Park West Gallery.

With kind regards,

Park West Supports Institutes of Higher Learning

Gallery provides framing for previously donated artwork to Central Michigan University

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN / Aug. 19 -- As part of its ongoing university donation program, Park West Gallery will be providing framing services for 100 works of art donated to Central Michigan University (CMU), allowing the works to be prominently displayed and making the artwork more accessible to Central Michigan students, its faculty, and members of the local community.

"It is always with great pleasure that Park West provides its services to institutes of higher learning," said founder and CEO of Park West Gallery, Albert Scaglione. "We hope that Central Michigan enjoys the artwork and, with it now being framed, is able to display the works in such a way that CMU students are able to significantly benefit from the collection."

Mr. Scaglione has been a supporter of Central Michigan University for many years. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Commercial Science by CMU during their commencement ceremonies last December. He also delivered the commencement address, inspiring the graduating seniors to pursue their dreams.

Over the past 10 years, more than $40 million dollars of art from the Park West Gallery collection has been donated by Albert Scaglione and his wife Mitsie. In addition to donating to Central Michigan University, the Scagliones have gifted artwork to: Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Henry Ford Community College, Jackson Community College, Lake Michigan College, Lawrence Technological University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Northwest State Community College, and Wittenberg University.

As part of its university donation program, Park West Gallery developed websites for each school. These sites provide information about the artists, images of the artwork in the school's collection, and links to the artists' own websites.

Happy Public Service Day!

Today is Public Service Day! The United Nations created Public Service Day to celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector.

Park West Gallery values public service and is dedicated to lending a helping hand year round. The Park West Foundation was created in 2005 by the founder and CEO of Park West Gallery, Albert Scaglione, and his wife, Mitsie, as a way to give back to the community. The foundation is currently focused on helping young women who have aged-out of the foster care system by creating a more complete support system for them, however the foundation continues to support many other causes and organizations as well.

Park West Gallery Artist Speaks to Fine Art Magazine

Park West Gallery, Linda Le Kinff

"THE LUCKIEST DAY OF MY LIFE was the day I met Mr. Albert Scaglione. You don't need many art dealers. You need the best. The trick is to find him amongst the others.

There are not great artists without great dealers, because, while one is creativity, the other is its revelation;...they can only exist in recognizing each other and working with each other.

The triumph of the artist will be that of the dealer, but the artist will never have any limelight or recognition if his dealer doesn't bring it about. The only way for an artist to exist is to be seen by others. The art dealer offers this to him."

- LINDA LE KINFF
